Bravissimo not to reopen in Belfast
It's always a sad time when a client closes a store you have helped them open
Our client bravissimo, which was directed to close as a consequence of the pandemic, has led to the company re planning its business, so they have taken the decision not to reopen their Royal Avenue store and surrender their lease back to the landlord.
The company started trading in 2014 and was the only physical store they had on the Island of Ireland, however they will continue to support their customers with their online offer.
Like many, these decisions have been made due to the health crisis we are all facing, which has in turn led to an economic crisis and when there is stability back in the retail market they have not ruled out returning to Northern Ireland and Belfast for a physical store in the future.
Unfortunately they will not be the last to close stores for these reasons and I am aware of several other retailers making similar choices at the moment.
