How to shop in-store has changed
As more businesses open up, the way we shop has changed.
We are now encouraged to be patient, queue and adopt a no touch common sense approach to only pick up items we really think we are going to buy.
We are seeing some businesses deciding to introduce quarantine procedures for clothes / books for between 48 and 72 hours. If items are handled by customers they are then stored before they are placed back on sales floors.
Whatever happens inside all types of buildings we all have to be mindful of the best way forward. This mindfulness will change how space is used and its functions. It remains to be seen what the impact on rental and values will be. No doubt winners and losers.
We are all adjusting to new business model's.
