Murphy dispose of US tech firm MACOM lease in City Quay One, Belfast
When Macom Technology Solutions decide to close there Belfast office, following a global changes in there market sector, they appointed Murphy, with there local knowledge and contacts, to dispose of their lease.
Macom, occupied a 7500 sqft Grade A office suite in one of Belfast latest Building's, the renowned City Quay One building, sited along the River Lagan.
The disposal was carried out on an "off market basis" with discussions had with selected parties active in the office market at this time.
The suite attracted lots of interest with some 8 viewings carried out, due to the affordable passing rent and existing high quality fit out and specification of the building.
In the end, one of the parties who occupied space in the building, namely Cayan, had to have the space and bid accordingly. The company is a leader in technology for process transactions online.
This additional space will allow Cayan to create up to a further 75 jobs in Belfast.
