Murphy sells 72 Castle street Belfast
Murphy Chartered Surveyors in association with GVA NI have sold the above retail building to a local business occupier.
The building is located in one of Belfast main secondary streets and attracted strong interest from local business to buy the building.
Having been placed on the market in March 2014, the transaction completed in September 2014, with the client getting the price they sought.
The building was of interest to several parties due to its affordable price, low rates and the opportunity to refurbish the upper floors to offices / residential.
In our experience, there are more and more local business trying to use cash reserves, to buy premises they rent or buy buildings they can open new business ventures in.
We see this trend continuing as more properties are offered to the market on a “to let or for sale basis” bringing further choice to the market.
